The market split in two. We refused to pick.

AI Agent Islands

Live agent status, permission prompts, token counts. No idea what your machine is actually doing.

VoidNotch

Both. In the same strip of black glass you already have.

System Monitors

CPU, RAM, temps, battery. Blind to the AI burning through your quota.

One HUD, two worlds

CPU, memory, disk, network, battery and health sit next to live token usage from every AI provider you run. Nothing else does both.

It talks back

Agent started, finished, needs your input, hit a quota wall. The notch expands, changes colour, and plays a custom voice alert. You can look away from the terminal.

Notch or menu bar

MacBook with a notch? Live in the notch. iMac or external display? The same dashboard drops into the menu bar. Auto-detected, switchable live.

Usage figures are read from local CLI and session data on a best-effort basis. Providers change their formats without notice; unsupported ones are labelled clearly, never shown as a fake 0%.

No account. No cloud. No telemetry.

VoidNotch reads usage from the CLI and session data already on your Mac. There is no sign-up and no telemetry. The only network request the app ever makes is Pro license activation and periodic re-validation: it contacts VoidNotch's own licence server, sending your licence key and a machine identifier (your Mac's name plus a hashed hardware ID) so the licence can be bound to your Mac. Purchases are handled separately in your browser by Polar, our payment processor. Nothing else leaves your machine.

Frequently asked

Is it notarized?

Yes. Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper lets it through on first launch.

Does it work on Intel Macs?

The downloadable app is Apple Silicon only (arm64) and will not launch on an Intel Mac. VoidNotch is built and tested on Apple Silicon, and its thermal readings rely on Apple Silicon's IOHID sensors (the Intel SMC path is not implemented). Intel support would require building a universal binary from source. macOS 14 or later.

Do I need Xcode?

Only if you build from source. The downloadable app is a normal .app.

Will you go subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time purchase per Mac.

What happens if a provider breaks the format?

That provider degrades to "unavailable" rather than lying to you, and we ship a fix. Community and Pro both get it.

Can I get a refund?

Pro is sold through Polar, our Merchant of Record, and refunds are handled under their terms. Email support@voidnotch.com or reply to your Polar receipt. There is also a free trial and a free Community edition, so you can try before you buy. See our Refund Policy.
